What you can expect to achieve

At my peak, I got 250 new followers in 1 week. That would be 1,000 every month if I kept up that pace. But that's me replying throughout the day, every day.

Under 1000 followers, I was getting about 30 new followers a day (but that's me replying throughout the day, every day).

At the start (in the 10s, low 100s), expect maybe 3-5 followers a day if you can only spend 2 hrs/day on it.

I’ve had several of my replies each get 200k views.

To get people following you, simply do this:

Reply to big account tweets AS SOON AS they drop

1. Find and follow 15-20 accounts (in your niche) with 500k - 2million followers

2. For each of those, click the Notify button on their page

3. Go to your settings and turn on Push Notifications (let me know if you can't figure this out)

4. Every time one of them tweets, quickly (within 10-15 seconds) post a valuable comment/reply

What makes a reply valuable?

Your text replies should be 1-6 lines, not long, don't think too hard or long, just write what comes to you immediately.

5. Find 10 good memes, and use them in your replies, mixed about half and half with text replies. Some images with good zen quotes should work well for you (or whatever you’re into).

6. Spend 1 hour replying to tweets in the morning (or 2 if you have time), 1 hour mid day, and 1 hour late afternoon early evening. The more time you spend each day, the faster you'll accumulate followers. Obvious, but cool because you are in control of your growth in that respect.

7. You'll come across people who say they'll follow you if you follow them. That's an extra way to add followers as you're starting.

8. Post a good tweet on your own account 1-2 times per day (no need for more than 3)

9. Make sure your bio and page look clean and pleasant

10. Do this every day for a week, then check in with me to assess

I know you can do it!

I'm just some guy, and (when I wrote this) I'm almost to 200 followers in less than 2 weeks. I approached it like a computer game, because it kind of is: followers are my health bars or mana potions, or I guess gold in the game.

My first goal was 10, then 50, then 100.

It took me longer than 45 days to reach 1k followers, but I took days and weeks off during those first months. But if I had kept the same pace, that’s when I’d have hit it.

You can hit that if you’re dedicated and consistent.
